PS3 Receives New Netflix Interface and Enhanced Streaming

Starting October 18th, 2010 Netflix will begin streaming select content in 1080p and Dolby Digital Plus via the PS3. Also the Netflix disc will no longer be required.

Throw in a much slicker interface which allows you to search for titles and numerous other improvements and you get one nice upgrade.

Now exclusive to the PS3 the enhanced video and audio will be made available to other unannounced devices in the unknown future.
