It’s a direct competitor of the WD TV Live Plus as its features are extremely close. One advantage is does have is the ability to internally mount a hard drive.
Purchase Points

- Most larger capacity hard drives are too large to fit completely inside the internal storage space
- It doesn’t have any outstanding or unique features
Everything the GoFlex TV does in our experience the WD TV Live Plus does a little better. From connecting to network shares to the user interface it was just a better experience. Perhaps it was just our environment but finding a supported wireless-N adapter proved rather difficult as we didn’t want to order one directly from Seagate. Once we were up and running network shares wouldn’t work via our Apple Time Capsule which worked great with the WD TV Live Plus.
Also it doesn’t support Pandora which is a wonderful music service we have used for years. Perhaps it might support more of the services you prefer but for us we could never find a reason to purchase one. It’s not that we didn’t like it rather we could always find a reason to purchase another streamer.
