For $399 you can’t buy a better receiver. It may lack a few of the features found on the more expensive receivers but when it comes to performing it has no problem keeping up.

Pass Points
- Lacks analog scaling / advanced digital scaling
- Lacks online and local streaming
In most cases you would have to pay more to purchase a receiver that comes with the Pass Points so they aren’t knocks on the receiver. It’s whether you want those features or not. We have never been fond of letting the receiver scale the image and most Blu-ray player and streamers will out feature and perform receivers’ online capabilities. Which makes it very hard to find a good reason to spend more for a receiver.
