- DVDO IScan VP50 -
●●● Rating

The DVDO iScan VP50 ($2,999) is Anchor Bay's top of the line model. They also offer the iScan VP30 ($1,999) and iScan VP20 ($1,699). The iScan VP50 adds the ability to process 1080p sources and world class 1080i deinterlacing. The main difference between the iScan VP20 and iScan VP30 is the later offers additional inputs and outputs. Anchor Bay's comparison table will give you a better understanding of which model suits your requirements.

With 4 HDMI and 2 component inputs the iScan VP50 should handle all of your sources. Its 10-bit scaling allows for 1:1 pixel mapping on digital displays which typically results in an improved image via the iScan VP50's powerful processing and removes the need for your display to scale the image to its native resolution.

When selecting your processor keep in mind that Anchor Bay offers various upgrade programs. Currently they are offering a $1,400 trade-in for your iScan VP30 on an iScan VP50. They even offer trade-ins on their competitor's models. If you tend to upgrade often it just might come in handy.
