      Content is king and as far as portable video goes it's pretty hard to dethrone Apple's iPod ($249 - $349). Sure the screen is small and the audio isn't surround sound but that's why home theater was invented. However if you want to catch up with your favorite TV show, screen a movie, or watch your favorite artist perform and can live with its short battery life  iTunes will be happy to help you out.

- Creative ZEN Vision W -

      If you have digital videos you want to watch on the go the Creative ZEN Vision W should be able to help. Available in both 30GB ($299) and 60GB ($399) versions there is plenty of storage to even throw in your favorite music. It also supports music services and includes an FM radio.

      However the real reason to use the ZEN Vision W is to watch video. With support for just about every format its 4.3 inch wide aspect bright screen will make images come alive. If you are willing to convert your TiVo To Go files you can also view them.

- Toshiba SD-P2900 -

      The new Toshiba SD-P2900 ($399) comes with a 10.2 inch wide screen and a ton of DVD playback features. With its component and digital audio outputs you can also use it as a traditional DVD player. For a lot less money and features you can go with Toshiba's SD-P1900 ($199). The SD-P2900 offers 800 x 480 resolution and multiple video adjustments to ensure a sharp true to life image. Portable features include battery pack, AC adapter, car cord adapter and two headphone jacks.
