TheaterTek DVD ($69) will bring all the performance of the best high-end DVD players to your HTPC. Just make sure your PC has a fairly new processor, graphics and sound card and with a little tweaking it just might look better than those standalone players. The program has been designed for easy operation and even supports various remote controls completely eliminating the need to be a nerd.

      However if you wish the endless list of features as well as the available third-party plug-ins could keep you busy for weeks on end as you reach to obtain the ultimate performance from each and every one of your DVDs and HD media. In most cases we wouldn't recommend buying a PC just for DVD playback although if you have one close by your display or enjoy squeezing out the last drop of performance we do recommend TheaterTek.
