Its pleasant sound and plenty of features including dual alarms, battery backup, input for iPod/MP3 players, and display brightness control makes for one nice clock radio. It comes in three colors and Boston Acoustics also offers an HD stereo version.

      The Sony ICF-M1000 FM/AM radio ($99) includes a line-in jack for connecting your MP3 player along with a stylish high gloss black finish. Best of all it sounds great for being a compact radio. The sound is enhanced by its bass reflex system and has a nice presence. One we didn't tire of listening to for hours at a time, which is rare when spending less than a $100.
